What a year it has been! I must say, it hasn’t been easy for me to get into the Christmas spirit this year. Not being able to go and see my family has been difficult, and of course the lockdown hasn’t helped us feel any more festive. Luckily, I had my Christmas mini sessions planned in The Hague! 12 families/couples/singles, 30 minutes each and lots and lots of unforgettable memories.
It was so much fun again meeting everyone. Luckily, one day before the first photoshoot, a gigantic christmas tree was set up at Het Plein in The Hague, beautifully decorated and with the stunning skyline of The Hague in the background. It reminded me a bit of Home Alone. Who wouldn’t want their Christmas photos taken there?
While one day was a little bit sunny (surprising for this time of the year in the Netherlands) the other day was quite cloudy and gloomy but that didn’t matter.
The Christmas lights in the background at Lange Voorhout and the Christmas spirit the families brought with them created such a cosy and fun atmosphere, we didn’t actually need any sun!
It makes me so happy to hear that many of them ended up sending these pictures all the way to their families in the Philippines, for example, or Indonesia. I even received one Christmas card, which made me so happy. Can’t wait for next year’s Mini sessions!
